Meditation Tricks

Having problems clearing your mind of all thoughts while meditating? Here is the trick. Do not try to clear your mind of all thoughts. It is impossible to do. This is an outdated technique that left people feeling frustration and lessened the desire to wish to meditate. Instead of trying to clear your mind, just sit peacefully and comfortably and, as images or thoughts come into your mind, gently acknowledge them and then let them go. In time you will train yourself to pay less atention to those wandering thoughts by simply ackowledging them and then dismissing them. Do not expect instant results overnight either. Meditation is most beneficial when performed regularly over a period of time. Also, meditating about the same time each day and using the same space each time, helps train your brain to get into the meditation zone easier.
